William Oscar Bell and Blanche Delora (Shaddle) Bell

Blanche Delora Shaddle, daughter of Frank Cornelius Shaddle was born July 6, 1899 in what is now Mundelein, Illinois. Originally the village was called Mechanics Grove after the many mechanics who settled there from the east, then Rockefeller and finally Mundelein. She married William Oscar Bell, who was born on August 5, 1890 in Highland Park, Illinois.

Blanche and William had 2 children:

  1. Norton William, born February 3, 1926, married Ann Codington
  2. Grace Ruth, born June 1, 1931, married Jerome Smith

William Oscar Bell died on June 13, 1965 in Libertyville, Illinois. His wife, Blanche Delora died on March 3, 1995 in Tacoma, Washington.
